has anyone ever been in labor and had only mild contractions?

only when labor was first starting.  by the time i got into active labor i was screaming for the meds i swore i wouldn't use...lol.

My entire labor up to delivery was light and my ds was here 5 hours after i went into labor he is my first it was way easy

so when did you call your doc if they were really light and not very painful?

i just went in because they were 2 minutes apart

you usually call when they are every 5-7 mins apart......

i think cases like that are the ones you see on the Today show..."i had my baby in the toilet"..lol

Yes. Woke up about 1:30am with "cramps".  Called the hospital and the head nurse said not to come in until the contractions were 5 minutes apart for an hour.  Got to the hospital around 7 am and baby was born at 1:25 pm. Oh yeah, when I got to the hospital they said my contractions were not strong enough and put pitocin in my iv.

it's not me it's my niece.  i'm just trying to figure when to call her doctor.  they are very mild and not very long in duration, but they are coming every 3-5 minutes.
