Not a lot, to be honest.  We don't have a lot and have all ready done the bulk of our shopping.  I'm not getting my family anything and have all ready discussed it with them.  I give my mom a roof, so she's the first one to get nixed when times are tough.  I never give my brother anything and my sister and I have decided to only have the boys exchange gifts.  My mom has a handbag full of Olay products she's gotten practically free with all her couponing that she's giving my grandma and she'll put my name on it as well.  I did just get my son's pictures done, so I'll give one of those to my grandma as well.
As for my in-laws, we'll be getting them small things.  Of course, we'll give everyone a framed picture of DS.  I'm giving my husband's maternal grandparents a 2lb tub of Moose Munch and his parents will get a Hickory Farms style cheese and sausage gift box.  I'll give his other grandparents a nice framed picture of DS and maybe a small gift card or something.  I'd like to do something for my fantastic SIL, but we shall see.  She'll understand if we don't, but she's wonderful and it would be nice to do something.
My son is getting the Handy Manny Repair Shop and a VTech Whiz Kid system.  I have a handful of other things I picked up on sale through the year up in the attic, so I may give him a play cooking set (pots and pans) and play food as well.  My nephew is getting a robot, which I all ready have.  All in all, we'll be well under $250, even counting what I bought back in March.

Bad year for us. We are only buying for our kids and our mothers and each other. We might spend 500. But that's for four kids, two moms, and the two of us.

but we are grateful for what we do have.

We only buy for our kids. We usually go way out. This year I think its not going to be such a big one. Things are scarce all the way around. No kids ever died bc they didn't get a nintendo ds. We also have two bdays and our anniversary in dec

We will be buying for our two kids, my husband parents, his one brother, and my parents...Than each other...That's about it.

Mostly I our parents and his brother will be getting some kind of gift card. We live in VA and they live in CA....With the price of shipping, cheaper to send gift cards...

Well over $4,000, I'd say.

We are buying for our parents, siblings, siblings' spouses, nieces and nephews, our childrens' Godparents, our children, eachother..... and I would like to buy something for our babysitter. A wonderful woman who sits for us on a moment's notice, understands why I do not want her to bring her own children while she sits (they stay with her husband), has become a dear friend besides being an employee. She only sits for us a few times a month when my husband and I go on "date nights", but she is GREAT. And I have no clue what to buy for her lol.

I believe in the benefit of organized after school activities. I believe in spoiling my children. I believe that I have seen the village and I do not want it raising my child - I will do that, Thank You. I believe that a woman's place is in the home taking care of her house, children and husband. I am submissive and proud, my husband is head of my home. I am a proud, traditional Roman Catholic, as is my husband... We are only spending about $40 this year! Every year we get pics taken and those are sent to the family members. We can never afford gifts for everyone. This year, we will not be getting anything for each other. My daughter wants a GameCube so we traded in DH's PSP and got her the GameCube with the trade in value. So the pics were $20 and we are going to get an extra control and another game for $20.
