I'm in labor, but I WILL be eating my turkey today!**UPDATE**

I started having contractions around 5 this morning. By 8 they had gotten pretty intense. But my water hasn't broken and they are still irregular...as in every 10-15 minutes, lasting about 45 seconds to a minute. Thanksgiving dinner at FIL's is at 2pm. Unless my water breaks you better believe I'd rather be enjoying my turkey than hurrying to the hospital. Wish me good luck! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

**I called L&D and they basically said to hold off as long as possible unless my water breaks. So right now contractions are every 7 minutes and getting stronger, but I'm still holding off going to the hospital. But I DID get my turkey!!**

Yeah i would go eat too, because hospitals dont let you eat in labor, and by time you get home all the leftovers will be gone. Congrats on your thanksgiving baby!

Good!  You should eat while you're in labor!  It will give you the energy you need to push baby out!

Good Luck!! I hope you get some turkey. My DD was born on Thanksgiving day 5 years ago. (b-day was yesterday) and I had her at 7:22pm so no turkey for me. There wasn't any leftovers that year either.    :(    LOL

GOOD LUCK MOMMY. MY GRANDMA HAD MY MOM ON THANKGIVING AND SHE SAID SHE SAT A THAT TABLE UNTIL HER PLATE  WAS CLEAR THEN SHE GOT UP AND TOLD EVERYONE THE BABY WAS COMIN NOW! SHE SAID AS SOON AS SHE SAID IT HER WATER BROKE SO SHE GRABBED A TURKEY LEG AND WENT TO GET THE CAR! I ALWAYS IMAGINE MY GRANDMA PUSHING WITH A MOUTH FULL OF TURKEY

lol if you actually are in true labor that might not be such a good idea because everything you eat will come right back up! But keep us updated!!!

Congrats! Turkey makes me so tired I can't imagine eating it and then having to push a baby out. I would have them save me some
