If you do have a drink either a holiday or not... would you drink in front of your children and if you do how many do you stop at??  I am the type of mom where I would drink but not in front of my children. i guess I wouldnt want them to be around it or even see me drink because I am afraid that if they see me do it than than they will think its ok. I dont want people to bashing others because they do drink.

Yes, I drink around my kids. I never have more than one or two if I am around them. I don't like being drunk around them so I watch myself.

I believe very strongly that the only way to lead is by example. If my kids never see me drinking in front of them, they will never see me as a model of responsible drinking. I want to teach them that because no one else will.

I want my children to know that there is a huge array of behaviors surrounding alcohol. You can drink, enjoy drinking and still be responsible. I don't want them to think that either you don't drink or you are an alcoholic.

I drink in front of my kids.

They have been taught that alcohol is ONLY for adults and they are not ever to touch it. 

I do not get drunk in front of them but I have been functionally tipsy.

Well I don't drink, and my husband doesn't really either, but my father does...alot...so at holidays I really don't allow my kids to see him drinking, because once he starts, he can't stop, and he is out of control.

i will drink in front on my daughter but i wont get wasted or drunk in front of her. I'll have maybe 1 or 2 drinks in front of her and thats it...Plus I'm a light weight so 1 or 2 is good for me.

Yes, I will drink and in front of my children too. My kids are smart enough to know that those are grown-up drinks, just as I did when my parents would drink.

I rarely drink but i see nothing wrong with having a drink or two in front of them. What i would not do is get drunk in front of them.
