I wanted a boy really bad.  I always tell people I wanted a boy too much the first time because it carried over to all 4 of my pregnancies.

I had wanted a boy but I'm so so glad I got a girl.  I couldn't imagine it any other way now.  She is our little princess. :o)

I just wanted a healthy baby because before we found out what we were having, I found out I had a tumor and had to have surgery. DH said we were having a boy and he was right, lol.

Of course I had the typical MOM answer: I don't care as long as "it's" happy and healthy.  But I WANTED a boy.  BUT I thought he was a girl!  So when I found out he was a boy, I was a TAD disappointed. But now I'm thrilled.  I want a girl next time :)

I'm a young (but strict) independent Mommy of one (so far).  I firmly believe in CIO, front facing, semi-vaccinating, ocassional spanking/time-outs, tough love!  Nothing irritates this Mommy more than immature little girls wanting a baby so badly then NOT TAKING CARE OF THEIR OWN!  You give us "Young Momma's" a bad name- and we don't deserve it.

I wanted a boy and got a girl.  My 2nd was a boy.  If we have anymore kids I hope they are boys...I think I can only handle one girl.  She is crazy!

I didn't have a preference at first, but started to have a feeling I was having a boy so that made me hope for a boy. I had twin boys, and was very happy.
