So I go to take a shower, we have family coming over, so I want to look nice. Crime? I didn't think so. But I guess I was wrong..... So I'm in the shower just get the shampoo in my hair and ICE cold water comes out I stop and listen and the bath tub in the hall bathroom is going ( the 2 back up to each other) So I get out as I can't stand a cold shower. And find out DH puts DD in the bath. He knew I was going to take a shower. So I wait for the bath to fill up get back in the shower and just get the conditioner in my hair and you guessed it.........ICE cold AGAIN, I get out to investigate and my sister is in the downstairs. So I have to wait for her to get out. so finally I just finished my shower that took me so much longer than it should have.
My complaint.... I want a hot water heater that plays first come first serve. Its not nice to take away from one just so new not thinking person can have the hot water. And Why does it have to take ALL the hot water? couldn't we share at minimum? Gee I want a new nice hot water heater!
hot water heaters dont work that, way, it can depend on how the lines are set up, who gets the most of the hot water, but it will still deplete it.
How about yelling out to door "turn off the freakin water Im showering"
That is why when we build our house we are putting in 3 tankless water heaters. One is just for the master bath, 1 for the kitchen and 1 for the other 3 bathrooms. Yes, we are building a house with 4 bathrooms. Our house will have 5 bedrooms which will house 3 boys, 2 girls and 2 adults. An every thing is solar other then my kitchen which will have propane.

This used to happen here too but I got a new bigger hot water heater and it doesn't happen anymore.

Ya know they make on demand heaters for JUST this purpose
A Rinnai Tankless Water Heater provides benefits over a tank water heater.
- Endless Hot Water - never take another cold shower again!
- Reduced Energy Costs - enjoy up to 40% energy savings.
- Longevity - tankless lasts 2x longer than a tank water heater.
The cost about what a tanked heater costs.
I tried but my bedroom is in the back of the house and either no one heard or didn't care. And my sisters room is down stairs so there is no way she would have heard

We plan on getting these when we have the money! I love the idea of everyone being able to shower in the same morning and still have hot water to do it! lol

I'm horrible cuz I think that's funny as heck! LOL
Our house doens't have that issue and I am sooo thankful for it. Our lasthouse did. I swear my DH would go flush the toilet on purpose while I was showering. LOL I think on purpose cuz I'd do it to him LOL
Our city here has strict policies on the water bill. If it isn't paid by the 20th then you are shut of the morning of the 21st until the billis paid. I make sure we pay on time each month. Dh swore one month he paid it. Shampooed up signing away as I shave a leg HOLY SH*T no water. I screamed for DH. He laughed. I was livid. I told him he better get this fixed now!
He called the water company and asked what's up. They turned off the wrong house! I was going to kill him but it wasn't his fault. Looking back now it still isn't that funny LOL
