being alone on thanksgiving

well my sons    been at his dads since 9 and returns at 4...so ive been by myself all day! I slept til 1 just to waste time..Now im waiting til 4 and going to parents house for a couple hours...

anybody else alone for thanksgiving

Nope hubby and kids are here just like every other day. No parents house to go to tho. I'm sorry that you are alone.
I feel like crap. This time of the year is so hard for me.

My family kind of flaked out this year, so it's just me & DD.  But we're having a great day!!  Bought enough food for 5 people, including lots of junk food for snacking.  Rented a bunch of movies.  We're still in our PJ's, just eating & vegging our way through the day - and loving it!!

My husband's deployed, our families all across the country from us, so it's just my DD and I... this is the first holiday I've ever been alone :(

I am voluntarily alone and to be honest I love it.  Don't get me wrong I love my inlaws (honestly) and I love seeing them but it gets so dang loud over there.  The grandkids (mine included) get on the TV/Video Game and turn it waaayyyy up, then my FIL turns his TV in the kitchen wwwaaaayyyy up.  Then the rest of us have to yell and should cause the kids won't turn theirs down and James won't turn his down so it is like a rock concert without the rock.  The last time I went over there I had a headache for nearly 3 days by time we came home.  I'm passing this year. 

Besides the car only holds 5 people and there are six of us total and we don't have that much gas left.

Is just me and the kids...Hubby is working till 10:30pm...we are still in our PJ's..lol...I took a nap and the kids ate burritos so they aren't hungry and the turkey is done....sheeeesh...

No, dh & kids are here...& it's ok, this year i am not really in the spirit of celebrating the holidays, what i'm doing it's all for the kids
