He didn't want to be with me on Thanksgiving...

I woke up this morning so excited for today. This was my first Thanksgiving on my own. I was going to make everything. I put the turkey in the oven and started working on other things. I still needed to clean around the house and my husband had promised the night before that he would help me clean. Well I tried waking him up this morning and he just got pissed off and ignored me. We got in a huge fight and he told me he didn't want to see my fu*king fat ass all day. So in stead of making a nice dinner fo my new family, I'm crying at my brothers house. I don't know what to do anymore. Is this one of those battles that I'm supposed to choose or ignore?

I'm sorry you're dealing with this today.  You said 'new family' so did you guys just get married recently to together recently?

What a ray of sunshine he is on a holiday!  This should be a warning for what the rest of yours holidays will be like with him....

I agree, and I would heed the warning very carefully. Men who love and cherish there wives dont do and say things like this to them, especially on a holiday.

I'm very sorry to hear that. Here i am all sad and depressed because my husband is deployed and all alone but shit, I got a very nice phone call from him today I would much rather be in my shoes then have him be a complete ass at home like yours. again I am so very sorry.

Sometimes, but I never thought he would do it on Thanksgiving?

That is awful!  You cannot ignore that.  I have never been disrespected by my dh like that... no one should.  I am sorry it started out this way.  I certainly hope it ends better! :)

You say your "new" family...How long have you been married.? Was he like this before you married him..? I am sorry but I could not live with someone who talked to me like that...I am not saying throw you marriage away over this...but after a few more years ...you are going to be very unhappy....

If he'll do it on Monday, he'll do it on Tuesday, and so on and so forth. If he's an ass, I doubt he'll show discretion based on it being a holiday. If I were you, I wouldn't want to spend my holidays or any other days with an ass. Tell him to get out and he won't have to be bothered with your "fat ass" any more. Jerk... Do not sit at your brother's house crying. Do not let him belittle you and make you feel bad. You better get tough and demand some respect or cut him loose. Let this be the last time he treats you like boo-boo.
