Can pregnant women have shrimp?

My husband brought some home from the store this afternoon and I REALLY want some.

Yes, shrimp is very low in mercury and considered safe for pregnant women in small amounts.  As long as you aren't eating it more than twice a week, it's perfectly fine!

It's not on the list for seafoods to avoid, I craved shrimp with all my boys and ate shrimp like crazy, it actually does a pregnant body good lol!!
