Do you eat your childs food?

What i mean is, do you try your babies food?

Just wondering cuz i read about parents upset that their child won't eat the meat baby food, or the stage 3s, and it makes me wonder.

Because *I* have to try whatever it is im feeding my baby. If *I* think its absolutely disgusting, I refuse to feed him it. I've tried the rice cereal, every veggie/fruit, even breastmilk. The only thing i DIDNT try was the formula i was forced to give him at night. I KNEW it tasted nasty and i had no choice but to feed him it LOL

But anyhoo. I was just wondering cuz any parent who tries the baby food in stage 3 or the meats would TOTALLY understand why their child refuses it LOL its so gross.

So my question is obvious =]

Yes, because the only baby food my son ever ate out of a jar was bananas and strained pears.

All the rest i made myself out of our food.

no they've never had baby food, I just used to put dinner in a food processor..

:sigh: im jealous. LOL

i dont have a food processor. Hell, I just got a blender 2 days ago LOL and if i try to feed my child mush, he'd probably smack me upside the head =]

The small jars yes, but just b/c I do not like it does not mean my child will not.  If they don't like it I try mixing it or going back and forth between something they like and don't to get them all sorts of varieties as possible.

I tried some bananas once...nothin serious though.

Because I only had one that really ate baby food and he did til he was 4. No. I didn't. But he'd eat any of it

 yes i would taste all the baby food before giving it to my LO... i just wanted to know if was any good. lol

no, i know that. i hate avocados and this child will eat them ALL DAY LONG =]

but i mean, if your child refuses it, you KNOW its gross, and you keep and keep and keep pushing it.. ya know?
