I have never done black Friday because of all the rumors i have heard about people fighting over toys and stuff. so my first question is it really as bad as the rumors say? and how big of a discount do you get? i have been thinking about doing it this years because some of the stuff that my kids want is expensive. but i don't know if i want to because of the rumors and i also wonder if the discount is worth all the hassle.

I have never shopped black friday but I work retail and it is really bad at times. I really dread going to work tonight. We have about 25 people scheduled just for crowd control..
Right now in my area, they are camping out tonight for the deals, it's that bad over here, to skip Thanksgiving dinner with family to go for the Black Friday deals that some are online anyway.

And yes the rumors are true. There's a lot of pushing shoving, People get injured.. People even get killed. it's pathetic.

yeah me neither...... it gets hot though (and we live in PA)... so I leave my coat in the car.

I worked it for 10 years...have shopped it for 3.I have never experianced a single problem. Yes- there are rude people but the same amount you would normally come acrossed
yeah ive gone every year since i became a mommy and i have never had any problems, i guess it depends where you live, the sales are worth it, especially if you dont have a lot of money, and ive never had any problems with anyone getting hurt or fighting!
