I just found out a half hour ago that one of my uncles was in the hospital last night. I never went to my familys house, we had my in laws here. My mother just told me that my uncle was rushed to the hospital last night because of his heart. No one know exactly what was wrong with his heart. The doctors were still doing tests. Is this the "punishment" I get for not showing up to dinner at my aunts house??? Please keep my uncle Fred in prayers. I will update when I get more information.

This is probably going to come across as rude, but your uncle being in the hospital is not about you.  Your post reads like God is punishing you by putting your uncle in the hospital.  Quit making his health condition about you and how you now feel guilty.  The two have nothing to do with each other.  Put your energy into praying for your uncle instead of into your own guilt.  I will say a prayer for your uncle and I hope his health improves.
