My DH is working, he works the over night shift. He ate really quick and went to bed. He is always tired anyway. I wish he would get off these overnight shifts. He has the option to but says he likes it. He hasn't been home for a complete holiday since we have been together. 3 years. Luckily he will be home by Christmas morning to see DD open her presents. Sucks though, but we do what we have to. Happy Thanksgiving All! I am stuffed. I couldn't even get through dessert. DD loved turkey, she loved it so much that it is in her hair, along with whipped cream. She just passed out so I will give her a bath in the morning.

Yep..Mine left at 11:45am and wont be home till 10:30pm... The big boss said they could be off but then his boss said No is OK they don't mind working!!!! Jerk...Just because he hates his wife doesn't mean the rest of the guys do....lol..AND to make it worse...LMAO..I fixed hubby a plate and the damn DOG ATE IT while I was putting the turkey in the fridge!!!!!!!

This is the first year in probably 10 years that my husband has had Thanksgiving off. it was so nice to have him at supper with his family.
He'll also have Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off as well. Literally this will be the first time since our girls were small. and they are in thier 20's now.
