And if you have the recipe please share that too.

I love dirt pudding and that is what I made for today. We went to FIL's. Here is my recipe.

Dirt Pudding

2 boxes of french vanilla pudding

1 box of cream cheese

1 tub of Cool Whip

1 pkg of Oreo's

Make the pudding according to directions on box. Add in cool whip and cream cheese(softened). Mix well. Crumble 2 rows of Oreo's in pudding mixture. Mix with spoon. Crumble remaining row in bottom of baking dish. Pour pudding mixture on top of cookie crumbs in dish. Refrigerate 1 hour.

I love making this,so easy and delishes. I have heard of many other ways to make it but I love this way the most.

Hmmm..Lets see..I Double Baked the Cherry and lemon Pies....(Stored them in the oven) Was missing ingredients for my pumpkin pies...When I got everything I needed I just walked over and preheated the oven..then it was like oh SHIT!! by that time the edge of the crust was burnt and Of course no  pot holders or towels in sight!!! so thankfully the whole pies didn't burn and then my daughter was getting butter outta the fridge and WHAM!! Chocolate pie hits the inside of the fridge and is all over the drawers and the floor..UGH..Remade chocolate pie.    So I guess I was just happy that I at least had dessert today...I think some unknown power was sabotaging my pies LOL..

About Concordan

1. In medium bowl, mix flour and salt. Cut in shortening, using pastry blender (or pulling 2 table knives through ingredients in opposite directions), until particles are size of small peas. Sprinkle with cold water, 1 tablespoon at a time, tossing with fork until all flour is moistened and pastry almost cleans side of bowl (1 to 2 teaspoons more water can be added if necessary).
2. Gather pastry into a ball. Shape into flattened round on lightly floured surface. Wrap in plastic wrap; refrigerate about 45 minutes or until dough is firm and cold, yet pliable. This allows the shortening to become slightly firm, which helps make the baked pastry more flaky. If refrigerated longer, let pastry soften slightly before rolling.
3. Heat oven to 475°F. With floured rolling pin, roll pastry into round 2 inches larger than upside-down 9-inch glass pie plate. Fold pastry into fourths; place in pie plate. Unfold and ease into plate, pressing firmly against bottom and side. Trim overhanging edge of pastry 1 inch from rim of pie plate. Fold and roll pastry under, even with plate; flute as desired. Prick bottom and side of pastry thoroughly with fork. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown; cool on cooling rack.
4. In medium bowl, beat 1 cup granulated sugar and the butter with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla and the chocolate. Gradually beat in egg product on high speed until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes). Pour into pie crust. Refrigerate until set, at least 2 hours but no longer than 24 hours.
5. In chilled medium bowl, beat whipping cream, 2 tablespoons granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla with electric mixer on high speed until stiff. Top pie with whipped cream; garnish with chocolate curls.

You know if you put Gummy Worms in the dirt pudding, it makes it so much more fun!  LOL

We haven't had our dessert yet, it's just a plain old pumpkin pie.  But I made my sweet potatoes a little different so they were sweet like a dessert...Added some cinnamon, brown sugar, and honey, then mashed them up and baked them at 350 for about 45 min, then put marshmallows on top...MMMM.
