My Rant For The Day....

First, I want to say Thanksgiving is over for me. I live in Germany and it is already "tomorrow." So, I'm not starting anything on thanksgiving.

If people want to believe in God, that's fine...I wont put you down for that.

I personally believe in evolution...and not that God created evolution (I know that some believe that as well).

My big problem is this: I absolutely HATE when people say "how can you not believe in God when you have a baby that grew inside you for nine months? How can you not believe in God when you have children?" (you get where I'm going...).

I love my son to death...but God did not create him.

My husband and I had some fun one night. One of his soldiers met up with my egg. Some cells divided and BOOM! my baby was made.

God had no part in that....biology did.

that is my rant for the day...

First off if you want to believe in evolution and feel justified in that and talking about it, we as christians have just as much right to spout our feelings and views as well. I personally DONT see how you can be handed a miracle and believe it evolved from an ape, but hey thats just me.

Since we are on the subject, if evolution just happened with particles... where did they come from?? And if they just exisited, why cant god just "exist"?

I never said you couldnt voice your opinion on the matter. There is another post going on that a woman said if you don't believe in God, dont comment...so I didn't. I was respectful to her just like I am to anyone else who believes in God...but it always seems that they (not all) cannot return that gesture.

If you were truly educated on the theory of evolution, you would know that we did not evolve from an ape...we share a common ancestor, not the same thing.

evolution is not a perfected thing. no one has ALL the answers...but the theory goes that it started off as a single cell organism. that cell mutated into a multiple cell organism...then those cells mutated and EVENTUALLY, OVER LOTS AND LOTS OF TIME, all these different species happened.

I'm the same way. I think its just as hard though for those who are religious to understand how we cannot just believe because to them God is very real. I don't care who is what religion and I rarely ever get offended by what people say anymore in regards to religion.

ok, so based on that theory, where did the single cell come frome?? Just like Christianity... we dont know.. so god is just as possible as the single organism.

I never said that God wasn't possible, I said I don't believe...TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.

See, I am being very respectful and then someone who does believe in God has to come and try to shove their info down my throat.

You asked me and I explained...that's it.

oh, and if I'm not mistaken, it has something to do with the Big Bang. Something like when the universe went through that to create our solar system, a bunch of mutated cells happened...dont ask me how, because i dont know.

also i would like to point out that a scientific theory and a regular theory are two completely different things. a scientific theory is based upon  hardcore facts.
