I had to deal with my bitch aunt today. That's enough for me. :)

24 year old, God loving, non-vaxing, tutu making WAH momma to Jenelle, Gracelynn, and Sapphire. Girlfriend to Rachel (not wife, because apparently some people are AGAINST two loving, consenting adults marrying).

I ditched my family and their bad attitudes this year by going to my cousin's roomates family dinner with them.  Much better:)

I didn't get to see mine today. I really wished I had though, but I will be going up to visit them tomorrow. My in-law story would have been a positive one though.. I love them and we get along really well!

My inlaws did not invite us to Thanksgiving at their house. They spent it with my SIL, her son, her friends and their friends.

My feelings are hurt, granted we celebrated Thanksgiving here. The last three thanksgivings we've spent at their house for "desert" because we have Thanksgiving "lunch" (at three, every year)

I want to call them up and cuss them out, but it's not worth it. I know where we stand with them. I am glad they made it clear!

DO SIL's count? Mine invited us for dinner at 5 last night, I show up at 5 she's not there, ok well maybe she is on her way, Went shopping called again at 6 nope nothing, drove by the house at 7, nope (mind you she lives 2 hours from me) She calls me at 10 at night, and tells me she got caught up and would I please come over today (I was staying at my Mom's house about a half hour away from her) She never calls, I call her at 3 and she is not home......grrrrrrrrrrrr

Just them bragging about their other son which wasn't so bad.  I feel sorry for DH though because he does so much for them and they never recognize or appreciate it.  But they sure love to brag on the one that does nothing for them!  Isn't that the way too often?

I wish I was with my in-laws.  FIL got remarried and no longer has time for his only child and grandchild.  They spent thanksgiving with her family.  That's ok though.  DS got spoiled by my parents today while my sister and I cooked an awesome meal.
