3 Year Old's Height

Does anyone have a 3 year old who is 34 inches or shorter?  My daughter was 34 3/8 inches at a 3 year check up. I have to take her back in 4 months for a height/weight re-check.

Bump.  How tall is/was your child at 3?

I just measured my almost 3 year old, she'll be 3 right after Christmas.  She's about 34.5 - 35 inches, she's never much been on the charts ever though.

ETA:  I'm 5ft and a little over 100lbs so it's not surprising that she's petite.

My son isn't 3 yet (2 more months) but he's TALL.  He was 34 inches at his 2 year check up.  I haven't measured him, but I'd guess he's around 36 or 37 inches.  But just guessing.  He's always been 95% on height.

ETA...He is an inch at least taller than my BIL nephew who is 4.

That makes me feel a little better.  Emily is below the charts too but I didn't see why the doctor was showing concern that she thought she would be taller at this visit.  Is your little one below the charts for weight too?

Yes, she left the CDC charts by 6-9 months old for weight.  She was 23 pounds yesterday but she just got over h1n1 that lasted 10 days, she was like 24 or 24.5 lbs before that.

The most important thing is that she is following a pretty steady growth trajectory.  Has she dropped centiles on the chart?

My hubby is 6'1"  I'm only 5'4".  I've heard that their size as a toddler is not a real good indicator of what their adult height will be.  My cousin was a HUGE toddler and is about 5'2" now at 18.
