Well I'm currently expecting my first child. For like ever it seems me and my sister get along for a while and then we bump heads allot. Well she has a 1 year old son and for the past year it has been about him . Especially with the grandparents, of which I understand . Here comes the butt in the convo, is it possible for my sister to be jealous of me getting the attention now .I would expect this from her son but not her . If it makes a difference she's only a year older than me .

I can definitely see where she would be jealous.  being the center of attention for a couple of years, and then having the focus transfer to you would be a bit of an ego blow.  It'll end.

Of course she can be jealous of you!  My Mom was pretty ridiculous when I got pregnant like my sister nearly didnt exist!  LOL  Hey, normally it is all about her, so I was happy!  Now she is out-of-state though, so it is back to normal!  Grrrrrrrrrrr.

trust me, its very hard to lose the spotlight..lol.  it only becomes an immaturity thing if she starts behaving like an angry 5 year old.  i have 2 nieces younger than my first one, and i've been in her shoes.

but i've also been on the attention-stealers side.  my sister didn't talk to me for months when she found out i was pregnant again..four months after she found out she was pregnant with her first.

My sister was always ridiculous when it came to having to be the center of attention. I feel for ya!
