has anyone ever had a dream where you are trying to call 911 and it never seems to work? like either the number doesnt go through, you cant dial it right, or your on hold? In all my dreams that i have where im trying to call 911 i can never get through or dial it right. it kinda freaks me out.
I hate thoes dreams. Mine is I can never dial the number right. I will try and try, but I always get it wrong.
YES!!! If I have to dial it in a dream it NEVER RINGS!!!!! Drives me nuts. I always realize I am dreaming because I have used 911 services many times and I know how fast they answer. So at least I dont freak. It is strange to realize you are dreaming in a dream because the thought only lasts a few seconds then you go back into dream mode.
I do all the time!! The lastest version was I had finally got the number right AND somebody on the line (yes!) and they said it was no longer the emergency number, I had to call H-E-L-P, but I was on a blackberry touch screen phone and couldn't figure out what number represented which letter LOL. Those dreams drive me nuts!
No but Ihave dreamed that I really needed to contact someone and cant remember the number!

Yes I have had those dreams before. One time I called for real (not in dream) and it picked up and hung up again. I was calling on the highway because my husband and I saw a mom and dad driving down the highway with 3 preschool age kids in the back seat of this older car without any car seats, booster seats or seatbelts. They were just bouncing up and down in the backseat like it was 1955. I was never able to get through to 911!
no but it's happened to me in real life. I tried calling 911 and it didn't work so I called the operator to connect me and the first thing out my mouth was this is an emergency and I need the police. The operator kept telling me she couldn't connect me because it wasn't an emergency. She didn't even know what the problem was at this time. Finally connected me to the police but in a different city so I got rerouted 3 times. Ugh. 3 hours later problem was solved.
I had it happen to me....
My dad was dropping me off at the movie theater, I was 13-14, and all of a sudden he started gasping for air and turning purple. He managed to hand me his cell and said "call 911" and when I did and hit send the call never went through. I called about 4 times and finally called mom and had her call. It was scary.....
