This was the first time I ever attempted to cook Thanksgiving dinner.  Usually we go to familys houses.  My dinner actually turned out great!  I dont cook so I was worried.  Oh and watching my 1 year old attack my pumpkin pie...he loved it.

My son, who's 3, wanted to lay with me tonight.  He put his head on my pillow, his forehead next to mine, his little arm around my  neck and said, "I love you, Mama."  That made my day.  :'}

My daughter came up to me and kissed my leg, telling my "ouchie" to go away, it made me smile. I have a bone tumor, we just refer to it as mommy's ouchie since I can't run or jump with her anymore.

It would have to be when I asked Louie my almost 4 year old what he was thankful for ...and he said..."I am very thankful that you and daddy bought me this floss." I about peed my pants because he was kinda thinking hard about it and I thought it was going to be something heart felt....but no he is just thankful for clean teeth!! lol

There were lots of good things today.  Right this second though, I'm enjoying the smug satisfation of knowing I'm right.  ;-)

The only appropriate attitude for man to have about the big questions, is not the arrogant certitude that is the hallmark of religion, but doubt. Doubt is humble and that is what man needs to be, considering that human history is just a litany of getting shit dead wrong. - Bill Maher
