DH has the worst body odor ever. Thing is, I rarely smell it on him...but it gets absorbed into his clothes, his pillow, towels, the poof thing he uses in the shower, etc.
Last night I started gagging because I got a little too close to his side of the bed. It smelled like old gym socks, or like shoes someone's been wearing all day without socks.
We've tried a variety of deoderants, laundry detergent, and I've moved to antibacterial body wash. But it's getting ridiculous...we've had to replace his pillow almost every month. I have to throw out all his undershirts the second time he wears them.
And, he's terribly sensitive about it (which is understandable), so I don't even know how to approach him without being mean. What else can I do?

He needs to see a Dr.
Myex had bad foot oder since I met him-said that is the way it always had been. After YEARS (men@@) he finally listened to me and mentioned it to his dr.
He had some kind of fungal infection-he had some lotion-and then some medication-and it all went away!
No more stank foot.
Chronic body odor is a condition. I know this from going to medical school and such. It is something that could be treted herbally or you can go to the doctor for it. Here is a link for you.

He is prone to fungal infection...but his whole body!! It's tinea versicolor, so it's got no symptoms except for patches of discoloration.
We've got a ton of different antifungals that he uses here and there mostly for prevention.

What type of doctor? Dermatologist? Endocrinologist? Something else?

Nope. Not even a drooler. In fact, he usually bundles up (jacket, beanie, flannel pants) because I'M the one who cooks under the blankets.
