I would like to keep the stocking stuffers simple this year due to being on a little bit of a budget. I usually spend around $30-$45 per stocking. One for my husband and one for my 5 year old daughter... but I was thinking under $15 this year. Any ideas that aren't "junk". I was thinking maybe some snacks and a special bag of candy or something? What kind of stocking stuffers do you get?
I'm going to the store Five Below and getting them little things of lip gloss and finger nail polish and a few things of candy and stuff like that cause everything else my girls never play w/ and it ends up in the toy box in a week.
They have lots of neat little CARS, Pooh (these two are my kids favorites), Dora, Deigo and other character toys and night lights at Dollar Tree. I'm stocking up on these for my boys stockings. Pooh for my 18 month old and CARS for my 3 year old. They have harmonicas, jump ropes, velcro dart boards (with the balls).

for my kids I am putting movies in them and socks and candy, my hubby is getting cologne and socks

I put in candy, a toothbrush, and a handwritten note telling my family how much they mean to me. SO also gets coffee samples, pens and whatever else that I see that could fit. DS will be getting matchbox cars, crayons, and a couple small toys.
I would stick with candy and your DD can get little things, like nailpolish, hair ties, temporary tattoos, a brush- that sort of thing.
Typically a magazine for dd, lip glosses, nail polishes, their favorite candies, necklaces, bracelets, .. just loaded up w/ trinkets and girlie things that will be used and loved.
DS typically get things like matchbox cars, small toys, his favorite candy, coloring book, etc.
I spend way to much on their stockings!
I bought a couple of balls with monster faces off of the Halloween table for 75% off. lol They will love them. I usually get stuff like crayons, candy, a coloring book, card games, chapstick, you can find $5 dvds at Walmart and Target, bath toys, playdoh, small books, bubble bath, pez dispensers.

I have a 4 yr old and a 16 month old..both girls.
4 yr old-
Mr Men and Little Miss Books
Andes Mints( she loves them)
A panda ball
a pair of chopsticks
a Chinese lantern ( these last 3 were gotten at a Chinese adoption get together as she is from China)
I'll probably get her some other treats like fruit snacks or something else... I haven't decided yet.
16 month old-
chopsticks
panda ball
book so far
No idea what else yet...
Dh-we only exchange stockings and we have a $50 cap on each other
So far I've gotten him a new travel coffee mug ( he needs a new one and has been hinting)
1 lb of Olive Garden coffee...he loves it, so he'll be thrilled
I'm debating about a video game and some treats, but not sure yet.
My mom-
some bathoil beads so far
I'll get her some of her fave gum, and some chocolate covered cherries
probably a book or two as well

That is what I was thinking for DD.. candy and a few girly accessories. And I'm sure that will be under $15. Hubby will get candy too... just not sure what else.
