My DH gets off work at 2pm....is it still worth it to do 'black friday shopping'? Or is that just all done in the weeeeee morning?

Here the deals last until the items are gone. Small town, and most everyone goes into the big cities to do their shopping, so there is a lot of good stuff left sometimes even the next day.

We live in a pretty small town....we just have A LOT of crazy women....lol. I would have gone earlier, but DH works from 6am-2pm and gets paid today so I have to wait for him to come home, see if we can even spend anything, then go, lol.

I know the feeling, hubby got paid today after being out all week...after we pay our car payment we'll have $7, lol. I had a $150 Wal-Mart gift caed, but I went ahead and did my shopping because I knew I'd have my 2 daycare kids today.

Most doorbuster sales are done by 1 from what I can tell.  I am doing my shopping during the weekdays... it is not worth saving to me.  Go out if you want to though.  There will still be Thanksgiving Day Sales!!

This is my first year actually spending any money on black friday. All of the other black friday's I was working and swore I'd NEVER go out in the maddness. I'd still never go out at 3-5am...lol. But, I need to get a few things and if we have a little extra left over, it'd be nice to get a few more presents out of the way...my DH really wants me to put this game on reserve for him at Gamestop and he said I could get my House Season 5 DVDs (because I heard somewhere it's on sale for 12.99...gotta double check though) so that'll be our Christmas presents to each other.

Darn! Season 5 wasn't on sale..just season 4...but I looked at wal-mart and they have it on sale for 27 istead of the usual 59.
