Hopefully my title will get people to open my post, sorry to be misleading.  I am pregnant with our first child.  She is due in early January, but I want to get both sets of grandparents something small from her for Christmas.  I'm thinking along the lines of a brag book or something similar but want something a little more personal...  we don't really do gifts for Christmas so I don't want to spend too much and embarrass anybody.  Suggestions anybody?

I like the little brag book idea. We are doing that this year, but in order to spend little to no money I'm going to use some of the supplies I already have to make the books myself. Here's a link on what I'm planning to do.

i think a brag book is great and if you have an ultrasound pic, make a copy and put that in as the first picture.  if they have a sense of humor, you can give them babysitting coupons.  usually folks give those to the parents for free babysitting, but you can give it to the g-parents as an opportunity to spend time with the little one.  this could easily be mistaken for greed, so you best tread carefully.

I wish I was creative enough to do it myself but I'm really not.  However, thanks for the idea...  I have a SIL I may be able to bribe into making them for me, making them so much more personal.  Thanks!
