If someone tells you that in the whole history of her family (as in there has never , never, ever been) a gay person (not that it's a bad thing but you'll see where I am going), a junkie, or anyone has never been to jail, some who failed in school, someone who has stole something or got any kind of trouble,etc?

Do you think this is Bullshit too?

Well I would wonder how far back they have gone in their family history, LOL. I could understand that just going back a generation or two, lol I could say that about MY family if you only look back a couple of generations but much more than that well lets just say no family is perfect. sealed lip

Not necessarily....I am sure anything is possible.

BTW...as far as I know there hasn't been anyone who has been gay in my family...but the rest, yes we have had family members in jail, in trouble with the law, a couple of alcoholics, a meth addict...it's not something I'd wish on anyone(the being in jail or the addictions)...if someone's family hasn't been touched by those things, more power to them. Those are issues I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Most likely but since I don't know all family situations I'd say anything is possible, just not my family cause we fit somebody for everyone of those catagories and that is just the people in my house and immediate family.

It could be true but it could also be that their family keeps things hid or ignores the bad truth in the family.

I wouldnt believe it if it came from someone in MY family..lol. You never know with other people. I guess its possible.

LOL! If you talk to some members of my family, you'll be told that we have a perfect family full of smart, successful women and men. Heck, you'll even be told that I graduated with a degree in music from Virginia Wesleyan .

Reality: we have a ton of drunks, several pot heads, multiple gay people, I NEVER graduated from VWC (in fact, my GPA was a .89) lol. We're a family of imperfect people. Most of the members of my family are perfectly OK with that fact but some aren't.

No family is perfect. I wouldn't believe it.

I guess anything is possible.
