any street racing mamas or SOs ??

i need help.. i'm writing a book and i know a lot about cars.

but i need some ideas on how people would hook their cars up.

if you don't know or don't have a racing SO please bump so those who do can see this and help.

well i used to a few years ago lol but i had a mechanic....well he was my BF at the time but we stayed friends..he worked a the Honda dealership and i trusted him so when i needed work done i would go to him andhe would hook it up. He was sooo good to! He won all of these awards for Honda Certified Mechanics in his area and could listen to a car running and tell you what was wrong and what they had done....but then he got into a motorcycle accident coming down an off ramp...something had spilled there and his bike went from under him and he broke his collar bone. He was ok thank god but he couldn't turn a wrench anymore so he had to quite and ended up working as a bouncer at a night club :(

i'm trying to stay away from 4 million hondas in my book though.. i'm basing it off the racespot where i live. unfortunetly the honda game is a big big deal around here. it's annoying to me lol

We have a 91' Acura Legend that's 2 pumped, 10 switches, fully shaved and lays body.  It's more for show, but we have raced it.. but just to show off..haha. it goes fast!
