My black friday!

 So I've been awake for 30hrs now. Left my house last night at 12:30am & didn't get back until 1:30pm. Ya, over 12 hrs shopping b/c my friends had to go to 378495 stores. Toys R Us was a joke. We got in line outside at like 1am (freezing temps, rain, & snow) and waited for an hour. They were only letting 10 people in at a time. Come to find out, the wait to check out was like 2 hrs. So we headed to WalMart and got there at 2:30. Thankfully we left TRU b/c people already had all their friday items and were already waiting in line to check out when the registers opened at 5am. I guess security told WM associates to just let them get their things b/c there were way too many people to stop. So we got all our things there and waited an hour and a half until 5 so we could check out. Got checked out within 15mins. We went to TRU twice, kmart, meijer, walmart, kohls, old navy, jcpenny, olive garden, and mcdonalds. I think thats it. I only spent like $330 and got a TON of stuff. I just placed an order a little bit ago for the play kitchen I am getting my kids so that adds to my total. Forgot about cyber monday or I would have waited to see if the price went down any. All in all it was fun, but I am VERY tired. I hear bedtime is coming early tonight :) Oh, we didn't run into any crazy people. It was just like another day, just wayyy more people. Everything went smoothly. Oh, I got my kids new winter coats. Bought my son a 4T. Tell me why size 4T coats need cell phone pockets on the inside?? LOL

LOL I was looking at coats at JCPenney's for Trinity and they had cell phone pockets on the inside LOL. I wondered wtf?

My 4 yo has 3 toy cell phones, I'm sure they make the jackets that waynow just to keep up with the times. If my kids have anything that resembles what we the grown ups have they are in HEAVEN lol!

It sounds like you did well! I stayed inside in my pjs where my coffee was waiting and shopped a little online...too cold out and I did NOT want to wait in one single line!

i just want to say im jealous of you. i wanted to go to meijer since im from michigan and then moved to cali in march. so all i have is a walmart and a really crappy one at that. and its 35 minutes away.best buy, target, the mall, toys'r'us are all 90 minutes away and i just went to the crappy walmart and said ok thats good lol

Awwww. If it makes you feel any better, I didn't buy anything at Meijer. 99% of my money was spent at kohls & wally world. We just went there b/c my friend needed the buy 2 get 1 free of the lego kits.
