The lady who lives below me baked me some cookies. She's crazy, I don't want to hang out with her or give her the impression that we should.
But.... it would be really rude of me to not return the favor, correct?
Should I make some cookies and take them to her? Or just leave it alone?

yeah....that is pretty crazy....i thought u were going to say that she has a lot of cats or something, to which i would have said that she sounds lonely!
but...if shes that off putting, i would just be neighborly and bake some cookies for her sometime to stay on her 'good' side, lol

If baking cookies for the holidays and giving as gifts is something you normally do or are thinking of doing this year then yes give her a few as well. Otherwise a short thank you note or some other small gift would be acceptable. If she is violent I think I would do SOMEthing so I did not get on her bad side, lol.
