well i have had my dds baby pics done there 4 times in the past year, and all the pics are supposed to have been saved on their website for a minum of one year.
. any time i have extra money i go on and order an extra pose or two that i dont have because they are expensive as heck, but the pictures are awesome. so i finally get on the website today to order some more pics, well apparently they changed web servers or something and all 4 of my albums are erased, so i called them and they were like oh well sorry. so i called the studio and they only keep them in studio for 30- 60 days, so the pics are gone forever and there was still a ton of poses i still wanted to order, because they take 30 poses each shoot, im miffed
yeah, we had that problem with Sears with the photos we had done after our wedding. I was uber-pissed and will never ever use Sears photography again. those are picture memories I can't replace.
I'm kinda amazed that they dont back up all their sessions onto CDs or a hard drive. I back up all my sessions onto a hard drive and am getting a CD archive ready for all my clients. I do keep their galleries online for ordering for only 2 weeks to get them to order quickly because that is how I make my money but I repost for a small fee when they are ready to order. That's too bad about those photos! Chain studios are notorious for being very unprofessional and cookie cutter in their ways.

yeah i know they cant keep them in studio forever most places delete them quickly but with the website saying they store them for a year minum it makes u think u have a long time to do reorders
I was thinking this too, I can't believe a company wouldn't do that... seems pretty ridiculous to me.
We always go to Portrait Innovations, (Love, love, love them!) and we always get a free CD when we print any pictures that has all the photos taken that day. We usually average about 120 photos each shoot, but only print 5 or so at that time. Then we can take the CD in there any time we want to print out more, and they print them there, so there's no waiting either.

wow so if u only pay for a few poses and then get a free cd does that mean u can take the cd home and print them all out for free at home?
