no offence to know one seriously!! why is black friday called that? i feel that disrespectful
I don't think it supposed to be offensive. I think it just means like dark and bad. Doom... IDK... I can't explain it right but in my mind I know what I'm talking about
c;mon how many ppl actually know that!
Quoting lovemymarine306:lmao...because its the day when all the stores go into the black..instead of red..lol
The name started because most retail runs in the red until the holiday season.. Black Friday is the kick off to the holiday shopping season, which is the time in which most retailers make the most profit for the fiscal year. It's about bringing accounts (profit margins in retail) from the red into the black.
Nearly 70% of the American economy is based on retail sales. Retailers need to be in the "Black" or showing profit in order to help keep the economy humming along (which is one of the reasons this recession is sticking around, no one is spending money, they don't have any to spend..)..
