After standing in line in 30 degree weather, including rain, for 5 hours freezing my ass off and thinking I was going to lose a few toes to frostbite, and THEN surviving a near riot because of stupid fucks cutting in line after spending hours sitting in their nice warm cars and then 5 minutes before the store opens they think they can get out and go straight to the front of the mile long line...I GOT MY ZHU ZHU!!!! YAY ME!!!! Now Nevaeh better play with the SOB every damn day! The things I go through just to see my kid's happy :) So how was everybody's Black Friday shopping adventures? Got any crazy stories?

What is a Zhu Zhu? I have never heard of them and my daughter is too young to know about them
Ha ha, I've been looking for them everywhere here and they are all sold out. I refuse to pay the inflated online prices, maybe there will be more in stock before Christmas.
I keep reading about these zhu zhu things here but have no idea what they are. Well I know they are a toy, but what is so great about them? I have an 8yo DD and a 4yo DD and they don't seem to know they even exist.

LOL. well at least you got it! i know the walmart my bf went to, no one wanted to wait til 5am to get things, so they took it upon themselves to unwrap everything. luckily, he got everything he went there for lol. him, his mom, brother, cousin, and moms friend all teamed up to get the different areas done that they needed haha.

LOL, i got them too, half off, delivered right to my door, free shipping.....months ago.
no crazy stories here though, i slept in until 11 this morning, and spent a nice, cozy day at home.
if you are one of those overly annoying people, who seem to get offended over every little thing, and like to pull out the "judgemental" card....please, do not quote me. i don't pay attention to stupid and i do not deal with whiners.
get yourself a tissue, grow up, and move on. and have a great day. :-)
sounds like your experience was similair to my toys r us experience. Did the midnight thing, and there was a near riot because they completely stopped checking out regular transactions for over 45 minutes while they shuffled electronics purchases through the front of the line. People were fighting, the police came out, people were standing on the shelves in the isles trying to see what was going on... then someone pulled the fire alarm which went off until the FD got there to turn it off. Then, someone proceeded to pull it over and over again just as it was turned off each time. I got my items within just a few minutes of getting in the store, but waited in line for 3 hours just to pay. I won't do another midnight run... the 5AM openings are more peacful in my experience.
