After reading through the responses to another post I couldn't help but wonder how much everyone gets back. Some were gonna pay off cars, cc bills hospital bills, house addition and it just got me wonderin.... so, ballpark, how much do you get back?? Last year hubby and I got just a little over $10000 federal and $1800 state.
My husband and I both own our own businesses. So yeah. We owe big time. Its awesome. lol
idk what happened but i voted 5,000-8,000..... last year we got about 7,000 back with one child, this year we will have 2 children so it is going to be more....
Im not sure, but with just our 1 dd, we got bak 6k last year, and we had another baby this year
We got 11k last year, no idea about this year. I have no idea how it works LOL I just know we pay in a good bit and DH only claims one (during the year, and then on his taxes he claims me too since I'm a SAHM) so we know we don't have to pay in. Then we get back whatever we get back and that goes half into savings and half into our student loans or the house or whatever big item that we still owe on.

Isnt it fun?! We should be able to pay it all for next year since we've been putting more aside in an account we stay away from but we are doing monthly payments for last year. It's gonna take awhile for us to pay for it. We owe between 5-6 grand for last year. ugh.
