Big OUCH! I am so sorry mama, I have had them but never got one lodged I was able to pass all mine because they were small but that was bad enough I couldn't imagine the pain you are in. I hope you get this resolved soon!

I have had the excruciating pain from a kidney stone.  I know the more I walked the worse it got.  I had many small ones though.  It hurt the most when they passed.  None of the regular pain meds helped so my doc gave me some stronger meds.  It didn't take the pain away but it made me not care as much.  Other then that I really don't know what else to tell you.  If it gets unbearable I guess you could go to the E.R. and maybe they will get the surgery done quicker.  It depends on your situation.

I know how you feel..I am surprised they are not doing the surgery sooner.  I had one in Feb. that got stuck and I had to have surgery to remove it.  I have had 5 in the last few  years and have been able to pass all but two.  I had to have lithotripsy on my 2nd one (sound waves used to break up the stone) and surgery on the last one...I feel for you...
