My 17 year old & 16 year old nieces had cosmetic surgery!!

My 17 year old niece just had her 2nd liposuction last week, and her 16 year old sister is scheduled for next Thursday to get breast implants!! I'm in shock & I can't understand WHY there is a need for them to get cosmetic surgery so young?? I mean there's nothing wrong with their bodies....

What shocks me more is that my sister is taking them to get it done, and she says that she's doing it b/c it's important to look beautiful & perfect. My 17 year old had her 1st liposuction at 15, and it made all our family worried & scared for what my sister is teaching her DDs.

Now my sister & nieces are mad at me & refuse to talk to me b/c I dont agree with them getting this done. They told me that Im just jealous I cant get any expensive surgeries like they can :(

Just venting a little b/c I don't know what to do......thought???

You don't do anything.  That is between them and their parents.

i believe dr phil did a show about these.  obviously you got the brains in the family or your sister was dropped on her head frequently.  i COULD come up with medical reasons for a teen to get lipo maybe, but it sounds like she is in no way needing it.  and NO ONE NEEDS breast implants.  even someone who had a mastectomy doesn't NEED implants.

remember the good old days when women ate arsenic to get that pale complection?

I'm surprised a doctor would do breast implants on such a young patient.  I didn't think that was legal.

I had my first cosmetic surgery when I was 15 to have my legs lengthened.  My family thought it was stupid and wrong.  I thought it was none of their business.  Later I had my nose fixed - I couldn't breathe through it.  They insisted I had a full nose job which I didn't.  I don't talk to them anymore.  You need to let their parents raise their own children their way.

It is ridiculous to do surgery like that on a sixteen year old. She hasn't even fully developed yet.

oh yeah wow!!!

Well the only reason why she's getting lipo is b/c she's a bit chubby, and she says exercise doesnt help. BUT all she eats is junk food! For breakfast they'll have hot cheetos & a soda!!!
