I am just wondering how far apart are your kids? Did you plan them to be close/far apart? Do you like the amount that they are spaced?
I am asking because I just had a little girl in August and she is my first. I am already getting asked when we are going to have another. I go back and forth on if I want kids that are close in age or further apart. I definately dont want to start trying again right now or anything I just want to weigh the pros and cons of having them close in age or not..So please tell me your story :]
There are ups and down to having close or having far apart. you just have to go with you gut and figure what would be right for you. I think my kids are pretty close and I LOVE it granted there are days i wanna pull my hair out but I think that happens regardless =0)

my boys were born 9-2005, 7-2006 and 10-2007. this one is due june 1st.
i wouldn't have it any other way. it's hectic and chaotic, but they are so close. my oldest two seem to communicate without speaking and they are way protective of their little brother. they're also excited for the new baby.
i will say that it's not for everybody, but i can't remember life differently. my oldest was in the nicu and he was 3 months old when we took him home. when he was 5months old i found out i was 4 months pregnant, lol, so my life has always been this busy.
my kids lack 1 day from being 2yrs and 5 months apart i really didn't plan it it just happened that way i think its perfect timing between my kids ages for me and i love that i had a son before a daughter my son is way over protective of his sister they are really close and are best friends

Mine are 5 years apart, mostly by choice. I had to finish up nursing school after my son was born and financially it felt right. They are very close as well.

Did your son have any jealousy issues? Thats something I am worried about if I do space them out.
My two are 10 years apart. We hadn't planned on having more than one. DS was a surprise.
Some friends of our have 3 under 3. The youngest is only about 6 months old right now and the mom is having medical problems now because she didn't allow her body to heal long enough between pregnancies.
Well, For me I didn't plan them actually 3 doctors said i couldn't have kids because i had polyoptic cyst something like that. Well i have a 16 year old. 5 year old 5/24/04 and a 6 year old 7/30/03 for 3 month they both have the same age and they say they look like twins. here are the pictures.
This is Aaliyah she is 6.
This is Chantelle she is 16

My little girl is 2 years and 8 months apart. I wouldnt have it any other way. My little girl is little momma....he is her baby and she would go to the end of the earth for him. No one messes with him without her consent. I love that I had a baby boy who is HUGe because he will be the Big Little brother. He will be able to protect his sister as well as she will him. He is over half her size and ready to rumble. I think 2 years is the perfect time apart if I have one more I am going to try to make them between 2-3 years apart. I think it makes them alittle more mature but still interested in the same things.
