Stands Behind me Slurping his coffee...hovering

Every friggin morning my husband has GOT to stand right behind me when i'm on the pc and slurp his coffee, swallowing loudly...IT DRIVES ME FRIGGIN NUTS!!!!!!!!    And then when i say something about his hovering over me,   i am the one that is in the wrong.  Excuse me?? We have several other rooms you can go slurp your coffee in...  We have a very small kitchen, and it just feels like the walls are closing in when someone is right behind me hovering over me...  the kids do it too.....and they figdet and that drives me nuts, and they are teenagers.    Especially when i'm trying to work on something or trying to read.  I only have a snippet of time in each day if i'm lucky(and not too tired)  to do my research and read the articles i need to read to live better, help myself, and   learn something.  I also do journaling on the pc too as it has helped me prioritize things in my life.  when i am doing that, i need the utmost concentration, and quiet.   It drives me nuts if i don't get at least a tiny part of the day to myself, even if its just to write down my thoughts.   but the constant interruptions are what drive me the most nuts.  And no one seems to understand how important it is for me to write.  I do a lot of non fiction writing and fictional writing too.  Sometimes i just have a very imaginative mind, and i create romane novels.     If i dont write it down then and there, the story is lost.    Or if i get interrupted, the story line is lost too.

How frustrating to have constant interruptions no matter what a person is trying to do.

My DH hovers too...drives me up the friggin' wall!

I will be sitting on the couch and he will come up behind me (we have the computer in the living room behind the couch...) on our computer chair and put his head right on my shoulder while I'm trying to work on homework or something....

I told him there is such a thing and personal space...lol.

talking to him is lke banging your head against a wall...he takes offense at everything i say.   Like this morning, i commented how mive it was i could sleep til 830, and all of a sudden my remark became about him.   I ended the conversing by saying all i did was say it was nice to sleep til 830... and i get verbally trashed for the next 10mins..  i have to get up at 6am everyday, otherwise.  and ordinarily, i dont sleep in at all... i'm up with the birds even on my day off.
