ARGUMENTS and differences of opinions between you, dh/SO. Do you feel as if there is no hope? Like one of you will be leaving, just to gain some peace? My dh & I have been together for over13 years.(October 31,1994~ common law, no "marriage certificate or licence" We've been fine. up untill recently. He's running low on cash, getting ugly about every detail in our budget. He has no income, I receive SSDI.
With the economy the way it is..EVERYONE is stressing...13 years is a long time darl'in ..To throw it out the door just for "gaining some peace" is not in your best interest.. I would take advantage of the counseling available in your area...sometimes it's not about changing them..it's about changing your reaction..Good Luck Sweetie!

SSDI is for people UNABLE to work..either a physical disability or a mental/emotional impairment... geez...
OP? Has he been working? If he hasn't been and it has been habitual since your "joining" I actually would change my advice..I would then suggest that you re-evalueate your "commitment".. because only an ass would live with a woman on a limited income and then complain there wasn't enough money.. Then it DEFINITLY sounds good about leaving to gain some peace...
P.S. why is HE short of money? Does he use drugs? not to be rude but I just caught a red flag..( recovering addicts have a inner radar ..I just got a feeling KWIM)
"Alls good until recently" was a big statement..It is more common than you think..

Maybe if one of you gets a job it will help.
