For most of you that has read or replyed on my other post I have a question again. If you havent read it here is a little bit.... I am currently 33 weeks pregnant and I have been losing my mucus plug for about 2 weeks straight now. I have noticed that when I sit in the bath tub I relieze I am losing it more often. So I stopped sitting in the bathtub (for about 4 days not I have just showered) and I went pee tonight and when I wiped I had a lot of it. I thought it looked like someone spit on the tissue paper. This is not my first but I dont remember much about my first pregnancy ( I was depressed without medication so I blocked alot of my past out until the beginning of this year.) I am just wondering on about how long after losing the mucus plug do you actully start labor??? I do know that my 1st pregnancy happened so fast that the mucus plug came out in one big lump and than I started labor in 6 hours. Other than that I dont remember anything about it.

Its green and very slimy.

how do u know its ur mucus plug and not something else?

I don't think your mucous plug should be green!! Usually green means an infection. I'd call your doctor.
I googled this!!! I don't think green is healthy or normal! I would call your dr.
As you near the end of your pregnancy, your cervix
will begin to thin out and dilate. As it changes, you may lose your mucus plug and find a gooey deposit in your underwear or on the toilet tissue after wiping. It is not uncommon for this mucus to be mixed with brown, pink, or red streaks of blood from the changes occurring within your cervix. Some women may lose the plug at 36 weeks' gestation, while many others may not lose it until labor has begun. Sometimes moms-to-be may not even notice that they are losing their mucus plug because it happens gradually, over several weeks, and they've already grown accustomed to varying but increased amounts of the vaginal discharge that often accompanies a normal pregnancy. If you are earlier than 36 weeks' pregnant when you see blood-tinged mucus, or if you have any vaginal bleeding beyond the first trimester
I've been looking it up online and it doesn't sound normal..
