I was wondering if anyone has had these damn things before and if they went away? Ive read that happen alot during pregnancy due to hormones. I have them ALL over my chest, arms, and upper back.  Ilook like Im sunburned when Im not. I brought it up to my midwife, but she had nothing to offer then " It must be the increase in estrogen".

These are exactly what mine look like.

Yes, the ones caused by pregnancy almost always go away.  It can take awhile after delivery though, like up to a year or so.

:( They look so gross! I dont think I will be wearing a lower cut shirt anymore. They just look down right yucky.

I know what you mean.  My sister had them.  They don't know what causes them exactly, but it seems to be linked to hormones because it often happens to pregnant women or ones on birth control.  Hers went away, but I know it took a long time.  I wonder if going on birth control after pregnancy makes it take even longer for them to go away.  I am not sure about that.

It would make sense that being on BC can make it take longer since your ADDING hormones.. I plan on getting an IUD after I have the baby so maybe it wont take as long for them to go away.

I have that under my eye , but I am not pregnant ( at least I don't think I am), it's caused by too much estrogen?  could that mean my estrogen levels are off since I am getting them now? man this sucks!  Now I am really curious to know if I am pregnant.  But I am too scared to test just yet.

I wonder if that's what I had.  I wasn't pregnant when I got them, but I got them when I first started taking Provera.  They showed up the first few months I was on the pills I just thought they were ingrown hairs.

i have those! those and standard hemangiomas.

if you try to break it... it won't stop bleeding... even with it being tiny.

sure, i have had a few i could get to stop. .but all in all i ended having to have a few quarterized.

they don't always go away.

so... you can have them "disolved" or you can dish out for lazor removal... both are costly.

I have not gotten any THAT big. Just small ones, but some of them start off as white head looking pimples and hurt! It takes them forever to heal.

none of mine are big at all!  even as tiny as they are... those are groupings of capularies.. when broken, they don't always clot.. even the tiny ones.

I have had them all of my life and I still get them.  I notice the more I am in the sun the more I get.  I am also littered with moles and tiny red mole looking things.  They can't make you sick, it is just the pigment of your skin.
