Help! I have to do the two things that I hate the most tomorrow. Spend time with MIL and go shopping LOL. Granted the fact that maybe this is a step forward towards her accepting me, and hopefully I wont have to hear many sweetly administered cruel comments, but she wants me to go to pick out some stuff I would like for Christmas. She doesn't believe in giving a gift unless it's a gift one needs, and there is really nothing I need!
I have a new set of pots and pans from just 2 years ago (the non-stick ones) I have a full baking set that I got last year, too much silverware as it is, plenty of drinking glasses, 2 sets of dishes.. I can't think of ANYTHING!!! She's really obsessed with kitchen things, so maybe if I can think of something that's not too little and not too big for there, I can get it over with sooner lol. I know it sounds cruel, but I can't help but be uneasy around her, considering the last 6 years she's been on my back about everything under the sun, and at least once per meeting, she has a rude comment about private areas of my body. So, anyone have any ideas?
Oooo a smoothie maker would be great!! So wouldn't a steamer and rice cooker! SO got the indoor grill for Christmas last year and my own mother gave me a crock pot, but I could really get a lot of use out of the steamer. Those are all great ideas, I'll point them all out so she can't complain about having a variety to choose from!
I don't have a bread maker either, another awesome idea! You ladies rock! :)
A wine rack is a good idea, she's always bring some up with her and I have no place to store it besides the fridge. Sadly I don't need towels, everytime I look for one I notice there is 3 or 4 more extra in there that she keeps bringing. I have a blender too, but I don't trust the darn thing after my last one exploded.
