Just wondering, how long did you bleed after delivery? After my csection two years ago, I only bled for three or four weeks. I had my son three and a half weeks ago vaginally, and tonight I found a big wad of bloody mucus in my pad. Is this normal?

If it is larger than the size of a golf ball then you should contact your OB.  Watch for other signs such as fever or excessive cramping.  I have had 3 vaginal deliveries and 1 c-section.  I bled longer and heavier after each delivery.

I bled for about two weeks and it was just like a period.   Nothing heavy or clots, so IDK.  I would call and talk to your nurse or something.

I had a vaginal birth with my DD and bled for 12 weeks STRAIGHT afterward, and not lightly either. My midwife finally prescribed me pills to shrink my uterus since it obviously wasn't doing it on it's own. After a few days of those pills, I stopped bleeding.  I mean, damn, that's 3 freaking months bleeding non-stop.

It wasn't as big as a golf ball. Maybe more like a quarter or a little bigger. I just haven't had a clot like that since the first week. It freaked me out a little.
