Am I Mean?

My whole family thinks I'm mean because 95 % of the time I give my son anything to drink I give him water with an ounce of those gerber splashers (water/juice) mixed in.  They said I shoud give him more juice and what not.  What do you think?

No your not mean. You are trying to do what you think is right for your child. You would be mean if you didn't give him anything at all.

I dont think your mean. I remember the dr. saying that your supposed to dilute the juice you give them. But the dr. also said there are no health benefits. So I think your doing the right thing.

Juice is completely unnecessary. You're only mean if keeping your child healthy makes you a bad mom.

How old is he? I guess it could be a little odd not to give him any juice, like juicy juice or even a little bit of other juices or even coolaide. But in the end your the mom and you will do with your child as you see fit.

He'll be 21 months old in 2 weeks.  I give him a cup or so of milk a day and the rest the water.  Sometimes I give him half water/half juice.

95% of the time my all my family drinks is water. It's the best thing for you so no I don't think you are mean. Now if you drink other drinks and he only gets to drink water with some juice then yes I guess it is kinda mean.

My son is almost 5 and my DD is almost 3 the ONLY drinks they have is Organic Milk 2%, water, and orange juice with breakfast every now and then if we go out to eat for breakfast. There is no need or nutritional value in giving a child juice.

No.

Mean would be not giving him anything to drink at all, or giving him too much juice to the point where his teeth rot (my sister did this to my nephew).

Having more water than juice is a good thing.
