Since September at least 2-3 times a month my eye gets very itchy and even if i don't rub it the white of my eye will buldge up and look bubbled. The color part of my eye will be almost covered by my white of the eye and my whole eye will be swollen almost closed. I have been to the doctor been to the eye doctor and everything is fine. The doctor gave me eye drops for allergies but they don't help and it still happens.  As i sit here its doing it again and i have another appt for later today. Also since around the same time my legs and arms and feet will fall to sleep without me doing anything for it to do it. You know how usually if you sit on your leg or sit to long or  lay on yoru arms or hand they'll go to sleep well i can just be driving and my arm will go to sleep or my leg. Its frustrating and the doctor thinks its not related but wont' do anything about it but tell me to do these range of motion excersiese which aren't helping. The last one of these episodes i had was in November and this is th elongest i have gone wihtout another. This morning i got my coffee and spilled it cause my arm went to sleep and now my eye is messing up. i swear they are related to each other but noone believes me. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what was wrong with you in the end and what did they do?

Oh and i should add that i have been extremely tired lately like i haven't went to bed although i have and i have been waking up with heart palpations and having a hard time catching my breath. Started around the same time as everything else and the doctor doesn't feel they are related. I did this on Saturday. Woke up and wasn't even breathing. It took me awhile to catch my breath and calm the heart before i could fall asleep. This always happens a few days before a "attack"

I would see an eye specialist and see what he or she thinks. A specialist is different that the run of the mill eye doctor. Possibly a neurologist should be consulted. I hope it feels better soon , good luck.

Thanks for the bump. I am probably going to be going elsewhere if my doctor doesn't help me with this soon. I have also been to the ER thinking that if i go when the probelms are happening they may be able to see something but everything always comes back fine.

I have never had that happen, but you need to get to a doctor and if the one you have is not helping then go to anouther one! Do not let this get out of hand! There is definately a problem whether they are related or not! Do you have a history of diebeties? How is your health other wise? Dont except the doctor saying nothings wrong because it is not normal what you going through! God bless and Merry christmas!

Find a new doctor!  Have you been to a different one?   Maybe a neurologist?   The reason I'm thinking neurologist is because you are mentioning tingling, numbness... which is nerve based...  (A neurologist will check your eyes for certain neurological conditions as well...)

I've had itchy eye issues and the only thing that has helped in the past was patanol... but perhaps you are having an allergic reaction... or something entirely different.   (I have NO IDEA.)   But the tingling and numbness worry me.   Please get a second/third opinion.   Symptoms usually don't just occur when everything is "fine".   (I wanna smack your Dr.  - if they don't know then they should refer you to someone else!)

Bupkie.....

Yes if this appt doesn't give me the answers or at least the beginning of answers i am going to get another opinion. Its just frustrating because by the tiem i get to that appt everything will be on the recovery and he won't see what its like during it. I have taken pictures before but he just barely looks at them. My heart is always beating fine, my blood pressure is fine, my pulse oxygen is always fine. Everything is fine then..i wish there was a way for them all to see what its like during it and since i have no idea when its going to do it its hard to make a appt before.

He thinks i am making it up. At least i think he thinks i am or i'm doing it to myself because of my husband being gone thinking he will get to come home.  He has never come out right and said this but his actions speak volumes.

patanol is what he gave me the last time. Eye drops i had to use every 4-5 hours one drop in the affected eye.
