cat troubles please send prayers and good thoughts

I brought my 4 month old cat to the vet because I thought he had an infection in his eye. My hubby noticed on friday that his left eye was really icky and gooy. This morning when the vet opened I called in and told them what was going on and they had me bring him in and they said he had an ulcer in his eye. I have to put this stuff in his eye 4-6 times a day. I have to take him back on thursday and if it gets any worse they have to do surgery to take his eye out. They said that this could even be cause by a herpe viral infection but they will not know unless they have to take the eye out and test it. Please prayers and good thoughts to my cat zap.

Oh did you ask the vet if that infection is contagious to humans?

My cat gets a herpes eye infection once in a while. It can not be passed to humans.

I hope your cat feels better and everything works out okay!!

that sucks. It can't be passed from human to cat but it can be passed from cat to cat so if you have other cats just watch out for that. There was a few cats in the shelter with this and they just needed cream in their eye once a day and they were just fine.
I hope your kitty gets to keep his eye! Fingers crossed for him!

Men are the most horrible creatures honey, they will ruin your life you mark my words...
