Question for mamas that like to bake...

Can you freeze cookies, brownies, rice crispy treats, lemon bars, and pecan bars? I am asking because I am totally bored and I want to bake something, but I bought just enough stuff to make for my Christmas goody plates to hand out for gifts. Do you know about any of these?

i would say no if you plan on doing it after baking them but possibly some batters are ok to freeze before baking.  Freezing changes the texture of the cookie, etc when it defrosts and are not good.  Only some cookies taste good frozen--such as the lemon bars possibly.

Thank you very much. I had decided against it because part of what was going to make them so special as a gift was the fact that they were going to be fresh.
