I want to see your less than perfect homes! Here is mine...
Kitchen: almost clean! Have to have hubby take out the trash when he gets home, waiting for DS' handprints to dry, and a few other odds and ends...

Dining room: almost clean also

Living room: that train table is being sold tonight. Stuff on the dog kennel is heading out to the sheds. Stuff behind the rocking chair is going to the bookstore or thrift store. Still have some cleaning to do here.

Bathroom: needs cleaned badly!

My son's playroom. This is a work in progress since it used to be his bedroom/playroom. Gotta buy one of those outdoor storage things so I can move his bikes outside!
before: yes, I need to go through the toys as well. 3 kids will soon be sharing this playroom.

after about 2 minutes of cleaning: doesn't take much for this room to look terrible because it's so small!

son and future daughter's new bedroom:
This will be where my daughter's crib goes. This desk is moving downstairs where the Christmas tree is so we're on hold. Going to paint it pink with butterflies :)

The stuff is coming off of that shelf but I have to buy a tub for it. The tall cabinet we do believe will fit next to the crib. Carseat and stroller will be in the car etc. We're just on hold for all of this!

My bedroom: Once again some of it is on hold until the tree is out of the way!

Let me see your less than perfect houses! Meanwhile, I'll be cleaning LOL.

Thank you :) My kitchen and dining room are my favorite rooms of the house. We put a lot of work into remodeling them after we bought it.
Quoting amber_1024:I don't have any pictures of mine...
But your house looks comfy and cozy.. I love the red color in your kitchen..

Good for you!!!
I was beginning to think I was the only one around here that didn't have a spotless house. Yours is very pretty, though! Our house is usually a mess just because we're crammed into a two bedroom apartment and don't have a lot of space...I'm already dreading taking home the Christmas presents my son gets from my mom day after tomorrow. I'd post some pictures, but I have my camera packed away.
I'm so glad you posted this, though...makes me feel better! ![]()
I'm glad it helped! I'm not ashamed to admit my house is not spotless. I grew up in a spotless house. My mom was always too busy cleaning to play with me and it seemed like me cleaning up every little thing was the most important thing. I don't want that for my son! Not bashing anybody who has a spotless house, just my view of things :)
And I made a rule this year: no large Christmas gifts! DS is getting 2 trucks from my brother, 3 medium sized toys from his grandparents, who knows what from hubby's side of the family but they never buy him much, and then maybe 10 small gifts from us and that is it!
Our house is only 2 bedroom and you can see how small the one is so we had to make the loft into a bedroom to fit both of our kids!
