Can babies get cradle cap on their face?

My little one has this red scaly patch of skin that starts at his eyebrow and goes down to his cheek. It also looks flaky like cradle cap does. I started putting Eucerin creme on it but in all honesty it made it look worse. It became even more red every time I put it on.

It doesn't seem to bother the baby at all but if this is something I can get rid of I would like to. Any ideas ladies?

I don't think they can get cradle cap on the face. I am trying to think what this could be. I can't think of the name.

If it's baby eczema do I leave it alone? Do I keep putting the Eucerin creme on? *Sigh* sometimes I feel so clueless as a mom! Oh and thank you ladies so much for replying :)

Eucerin may irritate it. Try Cetaphil lotion.

Gentle Naturals makes a Baby Eczema Cream that I used on my son when he would red patches on his face.  Worked great for him!  Hope that helps.
