I'm on my very last problem for this math class. I'm soooo stuck on this one freaking problem. Anybody know the answer?

 - 27/8 to the exponent of -4/3

I can't seem to get the problem on here. but it's a fraction negative 27 over 8. The exponent is negative 4 over 3.

I've never grasped the negative exponent concept! I am so glad this class is almost over!

To get rid of the negative exponents, put the whole thing under 1.  It'll look something like this:

1

--

(-27/8)^4/3

Then, the 4/3 exponent can be changed to radical notation.

It'll be something like this

1

--

the cubed (3) root of (-27/8)^4

Then you'll simplify from there.
