Ok so I have tried everything and need some advice. No matter what I do I can not keep down those damn horse pills. Any Ideas on how I can take them without vomiting?

i just stopped throwing everything up. so dont feel guilty if you can't keep them down.

you could try breaking them in half and taking them after a meal at different times of the day. or crush them up and mix em in pudding, LOL.

Do you take them with food? Or on an empty stomach?

I just read this in another post and I am really thinking of ordering some. Just hope this stuff will stay down.

Take them before you go to sleep... that way if you feels sick you'll sleep through it.

I got a bottle of liquid prenatal vitamins from whole foods....It doesn't taste bad at all and you can start with smaller amounts and work your way up!

talk to your ob.

Mine prescribed me these giant horse pills that are supposed to be prenatals. I can barely swallow the damn thing without suffocating

My good friend could not take them during her pregnancy for the same reason. She took Flinstone vitamins instead. She could not handle the iron in the prenatals because of her bad gall bladder. But she just had a healthy boy so I guess the Flinstones worked well!

I never had problems with the vitamins but my doctor told me if I did then I could take 2 Flintstone chewable vitamins instead.  Ask if that's an option and if you need anything additional like iron or folic acid.
