We file there every year, we just need our W2's, but a lot of people's situations are different. Call them and ask them.

We have to take W-2s, picture ID, SSN's, My husbands student loan info, and this year the info from buying the new car.

Do TurboTax -- it's SO much cheaper and easier.  It walks you through everything.

I filed last night, will have my refund within a week or two.

I use http://www.completetax.com/ .  It's very easy.  It asks you questions and pull up what you need.

I usually do my own taxes thru www.HandRBlock.com (if you go to irs.gov and select file for free you can click the free link from there, if not you pay h and r block).  We had them done in the office this year because of the new tax laws and my filing status changed (went from Head of Household to Married filing jointly)  I tried to do them myself again this year but felt like I was missing something ... I WAS!!!!  I missed almost $2500.  I paid H and R block $545 but hey if I had done them myself I would have gotten much less back so the extra $2000 is worth it in my book!
